How does the Bit Bank Work?

Clip Clop Bit Bank offers a Bit Bank service that lets you try out our bits on your horse. Bits can be sold with or without the 30 day trial period. If you do receive a previously trialled bit and you are happy with it then this can be exchanged for a new version (postage costs applicable). Some of our bits are not able to buy brand new this is stated on the bits that this applies to, If you are happy with your bit and we are not able to get that bit brand new you will be able to purchase the second hand bit. Clip Clop Bit Bank Can either post to you or you can pick the Bit up at Clip Clop Equestrian shop.

30 DAY BIT TRIAL

The bit will be payed for before it leaves the store. Your bit will be sent in a new or used condition. If it's not suitable or you don't like it, for whatever reason, return it to us in the same condition within the 30 day trial period and you will get refunded minus the hire charge of $5. If it is not returned within the 30 days that bit can not be returned and there will be no refund.

Trialling Bits

It is the customer's responsibility to take care of the bit, please make sure that the bit is kept in good condition throughout the trial period. The customer is also responsible that the bit is kept safe from theft and loss, as you cannot request a refund for the bit after the 30 day trial. The bit can be posted or dropped and the the Clip Clop Equestrian shop.

Health and Sanitation

Should you want to return the bit to us please make sure that you clean the bit thoroughly. Please clean the bit with water warm only. The bit Bank will thoroughly clean and disinfect all bits returned to us to kill any germs and bacteria. It is recommended that you thoroughly clean and disinfect the bit yourself again as a double precaution as The Bit Bank cannot be held responsible for any diseases, infections, viruses or mouth sores or ulcers or any other medical condition that appears after trialling one of the bits from Clip Clop Bit Bank.
